The Day Lincoln Lost, a new novel by Charles (Chuck) Rosenberg ’68, has been released by Hanover Square Press. The novel presents an alternative history of Lincoln’s Presidential Election. As Chuck explains,
“My new “what if” lets you wrap your head around this: Lincoln could easily have lost the presidential election. It was held on November 6, 1860—almost exactly one hundred sixty years before the one that will be soon upon us on November 3.”
The novel is the second alternate history novel by Rosenberg. The Trial and Execution of the Traitor George Washington, released in 2018, was one of the four finalists for the Sidewise Award for Best Alt-History Novel of the Year. Publisher’s Weekly gives The Day Lincoln Lost a starred review calling it “a thought-provoking alternate history” and says, “This well-researched, character-driven page-turner deserves a wide readership.”
